You are looking for a large and reputable Canada study abroad consulting company to get the most helpful guidance, but still do not know which company is trustworthy and has enough capacity to process your study abroad application fastest and most effectively. If you still hesitate about which company to choose, Cong Chien Thang Canada study abroad consulting company, definitely, shall satisfy you.
Many parents said they decided to choose Cong Chien Thang after meeting two or three other consulting firms. Some people even come to 5 offices of 5 different companies. In the current society where “goods things and bad things exist at the same time”, I understand worries of parents and students. Visiting offices and meet professionals in person is a good way to evaluate which Canada study abroad consulting company is prestigious. But is that enough to make the right decision?
So what factors make a prestigious and reliable company?
- A reliable company must have a business license, license of study abroad consulting in accordance with the law of Vietnam.
It must have a large team of professional, dedicated and experienced consultants. Besides, they must communicate well in both English and Vietnamese. - It must has good and modern facilities, and must publicize all steps and be transparent about all fees while conducting related procedures;
- It must be a parner of prestigious colleges and universities across Canada;
- It must observe the commitments made with parents, students, colleges and universities; there must be a clear contract signed by the parties when working with that company.
- It must be in fair competition with other competitors. Additionally, a good company should not run misleading advertisements of courses it is offering and should not make comparisons that aim to “break reputation” of its competitors or to cause those competitors to lose their advantages, nor make comparisons that cause customers to undervalue countries or colleges where that company doesn’t organize consulting programs or with which that company doesn’t partner;
- Customers should contact many other study abroad consulting firms to make sure that that company does not provide false or insufficient information that prevents students from having correct information about the facilities, admission requirements, admissions process, course content, tuition fees, etc. given by the college they apply for.
A prestigious Canada study abroad consulting company will provide all of its contact information, its is always transparent about everything and even it shall give you telephone numbers /email addresses of its previous customers so that you can verify.
That company shall always support students throughout the process from document preparation to graduation. - “If a company has all the factors mentioned above, parents have the foundation to claim that that company gains your trust and expectation. Being aware of that worry, we always provide customers with the most accurate information. Our specialists always want parents to directly contact and visit our company themselves. Because it’s you who evaluate if a company is prestigious. Cong Chien Thang understands and respects that”.

*Note: Documents must be submitted at least 12 weeks before the start of the course, so you should make sure they are available as soon as possible.
Step 3: Attending the visa interview
The Embassy and Consulate General of Canada shall normally not require Vietnamese students to attend a visa interview because the Consulate General has 3 months to consider your application. However, in some occasional cases, students are asked to come to the Embassy for clarification when there are some questions related to their application.
When you receive an interview invitation, you must select the date & time for the interview before the timeframe regulated and more importantly, pay attention to following advice to have a smooth and successful interview:
Dress well in formal attire, be respectful, calm and confident during the interview and remember to bring the originals of the documents/papers submitted to the Consulate General of Canada or other supporting documents (if any).
The consular officer will ask you whether you want to be interviewed in English or Vietnamese. It is highly recommended that you answer interview questions in English because before going to study in Canada, you have spent time on improving your English.
When answering questions, you should avoid telling much about your personal experiences or about your family. Consular officers are very busy, they have to interview many people a day. They do not want to receive a very long answer for a short question.
Stick to the problem and get to the point when you are raised a question. Occasionally, you will be asked a question with a simple answer “Yes” or “No”. Then, you should give a short answer, which aims at what the Consular officer is expecting and satisfying his/her concerns. Of course, if you receive a question that requires you to give explanation, explain it to them, but, again, get to the point.
Don’t give answer until the consular officer finishes his/her question. If you answer before the consular officer finishes his/her question, you may not be able to answer their question correctly. This way, you prolong the interview.
Make sure that you understand the question. If you do not understand it, politely let them know so that they can repeat the question, using simpler words or ask an interpreter to translate it into Vietnamese. Consular officers do not want you to answer a question you do not understand and they will not know that you do not understand the question if you do not let them know.
You should not guess any question. If you do not know the answer to any question, or if you do not remember the answer, let the consular officer know. They do not want you to guess a question if you do not know it.
You should always tell the truth. When you tell the truth in the first place and explain your case, you won’t be suspicious of the truthfulness of the answer and hence the interview will be smoother.
You should submit originals or certified documents, all errors are considered as fraudulent and this is one of the reasons why you are refused a visa.
* Remarks:
In some cases or from time to time where/when there are so many visa applications or it takes more time to verify applicants’ applications than expected (3 months). In those cases, students should contact your future college to inform them of the status of your application and to apply for an extension of the commencement date (if you predict that you shall be granted a visa after the commencement date informed in the admission letter). You should also contact the Consulate General of Canada by email asking for your application status so that the consular officer may consider and give the response related to your application.
Your visa application is carefully considered by the consular officer before they grant you a visa. Therefore we recommend you to submit your application as soon as possible within 3 months before your application is considered. By this way, you are well prepared and have time to pack up after receiving a visa to study in a new country – Canada.
